Aladdin and the Twins of Agrabah ch 2

Chapter 2
A Recipe for Adventure

+Throne Room, the Palace, an hour later+

As soon as the presentation was over, the royal family, Cassim and Iago headed straight to the throne room where Dhandi, Jenna, Salima and Rafi looked curiously at their new grandfather as they stood by their parents while the older man looked worringly at Aladdin who was standing by the throne with the Sultan, Jasmine, Genie and Eden.

"Dad, not that I'm unhappy to see you on today of all days but what are you doing back in Agrabah?" Aladdin told and then worringly asked his father. "You're still a wanted man after what you and the other theives did during Jasmine's and my wedding." Aladdin then explained to his father who sighed.

"Aladdin, I need your help." Cassim sighed sadly causing Aladdin and the others to look at him worringly. "During our travels, Iago and I came across news of a powerful sorcerer rumored to be living in the Land of the Black Sand. However, before I could check it out, Iago told me about the man who rules the Land of the Black Sand and how you and him have faught before. After Iago told me what he looked like, I knew it had to be him." Cassim happily explained to his son who looked at him curiously. "Him who, Dad?" Aladdin curiously asked his Dad. "Ali, your older brother. You were just a small child when that wizard took him away." Cassim told his son as anger filled his eyes as he remembered the man who stole his oldest son from him the night before the former thief was to leave Agrabah.

"You might not remember him, son. But you and him were close. In fact, neither of you would sleep unless your mother would sing to both of you." Cassim told his son and then chuckled causing Aladdin to sigh sadly. "I do remember him, sort of. In fact, it was his name that I used when I wished for Genie to turn me into a prince so that I could meet Jasmine once more." Aladdin sighed sadly causing Jasmine to look worringly at her husband before she looked at her father-in-law.

"Cassim, do you really think that Mozenrath could be Ali?" Jasmine asked her father-in-law knowing that there was only one person living in the Land of the Black Sand. "I believe so but the only way to know for sure is to ask The Oracle." Cassim then told Jasmine while Dhandi looked worringly between her new family and Eden.

"Dad, Mozenrath is powerful and dangerous. If he really is Ali, then Destane must have done something to his mind to make him act so cruel, greedy and selfish. After our last battle, he completely disappeared and no one has seen him since." Aladdin seriously told his father as Jasmine looked worringly at her husband knowing that if Mozenrath was really Ali, then Aladdin would want to find him and then reform him.

"Besides, The Oracle isn't here. While Jasmine and I were away on our honeymoon, I had Genie hide The Oracle in a place known as the Cave of Wonders and only a diamond in the rough can enter the cave." Aladdin then explained to his father who looked sadly at his son. "Then how are we going to find your brother?" Cassim asked his son causing Iago to speak up.

"I know away but we're going to need a storm and a jewel." Iago told the group causing everyone to look at the red bird.

+Jafar's former hideout+

"Do you really think this will work, little friend?" Cassim curiously asked Iago as he, Aladdin, Genie and Jasmine stood in front of a large hourglass. "I'm sure." Iago told Cassim as Genie used his magic to start up the machine that Jafar had once used to find the diamond in the rough.

"Part, sands of time. Reveal to me the brother of the one who can enter the cave." Iago then asked the machine in Jafar's voice causing an image of Aladdin to appear in the top of the hourglass before sand fell into the bottom of the hourglass and then swirled around revealing an image of Mozenrath who was in the throne room of his castle along with his flying eel Xerxes.

+Front steps of the place, sunrise, the next day+

"Aladdin, you should go with him." Jasmine softly told her husband as they stood on the front steps of the palace and watched Cassim climb onto Carpet.

"Are you sure?" Aladdin worringly asked his wife who nodded and then smiled as she placed her hands on her stomach causing her husband to look at her in pure shock. "All of our children need to know who their uncle really is." Jasmine smiled at her husband as she gently placed her hands on her stomach causing Aladdin to grin as he gently picked his wife up and then spun her around before he put her down.

"I promise I'll come back." Aladdin softly told his wife before he kissed her tenderly on her lips before he walked down the palace steps and over to Carpet.

+Throne Room, Mozenrath's castle, Land of the Black Sand+

"Mozenrath sad." Xerxes sighed sadly as he floated around his master and good friend. "I'm not sad, Xerxes. I'm confused." Mozenrath told his friend just as four mamluks brought Aladdin and Cassim into the throne room and over the former wizard causing Mozenrath to glare at them.

"I'm not in the mood to deal with you today, Aladdin." Mozenrath growled at the former street rat before he sighed sadly and then closed his eyes causing Aladdin to look at him worringly before he began to sing.

Aladdin: When you wish upon a star

Makes no difference

who you are

Anything your heart desires

Will come to you

If your heart is in your dreams

No request is too extreme

When you wish upon a star

As dreamers do

"Aladdin sing?" Xerxes curiously asked the former street rat before he looked at Mozenrath and noticed that he was looking at Aladdin and Cassim in pure shock causing the flying eel to look at Mozenrath worringly just as the former wizard began to sing.

Mozenrath: Fate is kind

She brings to those who love

The sweet fullfillment of

their secret longing

Oh, like a bolt

out of the blue

Fate steps in

and sees you through

When you wish upon a star

Your dream comes true

"Ali?" Aladdin nervously asked his older brother causing the former wizard to smile. "Yes, it's me, little brother." Ali softly told his brother before he paled causing Xerxes, Aladdin and Cassim to look at him worringly.

"Aladdin, I am so sorry for all of the horrible things I've done to you and your friends. How can I ever face you again after failing you as your big brother." Ali then heartbrokenly told his brother causing Aladdin to hug him.
