Chapter 9
"From a static squiggly blob? Not good." Ben told the group as Kayla looked worringly at her cousin.
"Fire escape! Run!" Elena told the group before she ran from the brainwashed people just as they got closer to herself, Ben, Blonko and Kayla causing Ben, Blonko and Kayla to follow Elena away from the brainwashed group and over to a nearby door which she then opened revealing another brainwashed teen.
"Ben!" Elena yelled in fright before she moved away from the brainwashed teen causing Ben to punch the teen before Elena knocked the brainwashed teen off of the fire escape and then ran down it causing Ben, a nervous Kayla and Blonko to follow her as the brainwashed people began to chase them down the fire escape and across the yard.

"No!" yelled Elena in fright as more and more brainwashed people began to walk over to them from different directions as Ben, Blonko, Kayla and Elena ran over to their motorcycles.
"This is so not good." Kayla nervously told her cousins and Elena.
"What do we do?" Elena asked Ben causing the brunette to look at Blonko and Kayla.
"Kayla?" Ben asked his cousin causing the brunette to nod as she took out her tiara.
"Okay, I think I got it." Ben began to explain to the group as he began to fidle with the Omnitrix. "So if these chips are actually alive, like some form of techno-organic interface, then the watch must be in overdrive to scan 'em." Ben then explained to the group causing Kayla and Blonko to look at Ben while Elena rolled her eyes.
"Can we have this pop quiz another time?" Elena asked Ben in fright.
"Maybe I can redirect the scan back at the chips, if I can just boost the power." Ben then explained to the group causing Kayla to look worringly at her cousin.
"Just becareful Ben. I really don't want a repeat of what happened the last time you decided to mess around with that thing." Kayla warned her cousin who rolled his eyes as he began to swipe the omintrix's screen.
"One: that was the prototype Omnitrix and two: that was 6 years ago, are you ever going to let that go?" Ben told and then asked his cousin causing the brunette to shake her head.
"Nope." Kayla told her cousin causing Blonko to look at them curiously.
"I got it!" Ben then told the group as the omnitrix began to glow before a beam of yellow light flowed away from the omnitrix and then hit the brainwashed people causing them to be blasted away from the group causing Kayla to put away her tiara.
"Hey, not bad." Ben then told the group as Elena looked worringly at the brainwashed people.
"Not great, either. Come on, let's go!" Elena told Ben as she climbed onto her motorcycle causing Ben, Blonko and Kayla to do the same and then quickly put on their helmets before the sounds of motorcycle engines filled the air as three motorcycles quickly sped through the streets and away from the brainwashed people who tried to catch them until one of the brainwashed people knocked Elena off of her motorcycle causing Ben drive his motorcycle over to her and then stop his motorcycle in front of her causing Blonko to do the same before Kayla climbed off of Blonko's motorcycle and then climbed on Ben's motorcycle causing Elena to glare at the brunette.
"Valdius, get on Blonko's motorcycle." Kayla told the raven haired teen causing Elena to glare at her before she did as she was told just before Ben and Blonko reved up their motorcycles and then drove passed the brainwashed people once more as Elena pouted while Kayla clung to her cousin.

As soon as they made sure they weren't being followed, Ben and Blonko stopped their motorcycles near a werehouse before they took off their helmets causing Elena and Kayla to do the same.
"Thanks, Ben. You're pretty good on this thing." Elena greatfully told Ben causing Kayla to glare at the raven haired teen.
"It was no problem, Elena. But you shouldn't thank just me, Kayla and Blonko helped too and you can hold your own in a fight." Ben told Elena causing her to scowl at Blonko and Kayla.
"So what do we do now?" Kayla curiously asked her cousins and Elena.
"We visit the shipment center and find out what Elena'd dad was up to. Maybe even find Elena's dad." Ben explained the group causing Kayla to look nervously at Ben.
"Whatever he sent is long gone now." Elena told Ben.
"You sure about that?" Ben asked Elena before he took the recept out of his pocket and then unfolded it.
"This was dated today." Ben told Elena as Blonko and Kayla looked at the recept.
"I thought you said he has been missing for weeks." Blonko asked Elena causing Kayla to glare at her as she heard Elena's heart beat faster.
"He has. You believe me, don't you, Ben?" Elena told and then asked Ben as she batted her eyelashes at him causing Blonko to glare at her.
"I believe...we'll find something at the Ship-It." Ben told Elena before he looked at Kayla.
"Kay, do you need to feed before we head to Ship-It?" Ben curiously asked his cousin causing Kayla to shake her head.
"I fed before we left the base. I should be fine until we return." Kayla told Ben causing the teen to nod before he put back on his helmet causing Blonko, Elena and Kayla to do the same.
+With Gwen, Kevin, Cooper, C.P. and Angel, Grandpa Max's office, Plumber Base+
"Who were you gonan sell the chips to, Victor?" a 60-61 year old Grandpa Max asked Victor Valdius who was sitting in front of him.
"I keep telling you...I had to take them. It was for research. Those chips, they're a threat. They're planning something." Victor told Grandpa Max causing him to get mad.
"That is a lie! They're dead!" Grandpa Max yelled at Victor before he calmed down. "The lab boys say they're nothing but alien tech, no threat at all. Who's your buyer?" Grandpa Max then explained to Victor and then asked the other man.
"The hive, they want us! They're coming for us, Max! They're coming for us all! I'm telling you the truth, Max!" Victor yelled at Grandpa Max.
"You're gonna have to do better than that, Victor." Grandpa Max told Victor. "I know you." Grandpa Max told Victor before Kevin pressed a button on the keyboard causing the video to pause.
"Gramps has a great bedside manner there, Gwen." Kevin sarcasticly told Gwen as C.P. and Cooper nodded as Angel giggled as she flew around C.P.'s head causing the blond to chuckle.
"Validus was like, his prized pupil. I think Grandpa really felt his betrayal. I wonder if..." Gwen explained to the boys and then began to ask them before C.P. interupted her as he, Kevin and Cooper looked at Gwen.
"You think Mr. Tennyson's getting stabbed in the back is keeping him from seeing straight?" C.P. asked Gwen who nodded.
"That would make..." Kevin began.
"Ben right." Gwen continued causing Angel to fly over to her at the mention of Ben's name.
"Where Mama?" Angel curiously chirped at Gwen causing her to smile.
