Kencules and the Gotham Night ch 4

Chapter 4

"Nice, huh?" Morgan asked Mike as the imps stood near him. "Now, uh, I give 'em some kind of boiler-plate instructions, right? You know, bow before me." Morgan began to explain to Mike as the imps bowed in front of their master. "Spread my evil, eliminate Peter with extreme prejudice, blah-ya-blah, got it boys?" Morgan then told Mike and the imps causing Emerald and Tellu to kneel before him.

"None shall advert us from your dark intentions, your solicitousness!" Emerald told Morgan as she and Tellu saluted him before they turned away from Morgan and then ran into a nearby wall causing them to groan before they fell onto the floor as Morgan looked at Mike.

"Not the best examples, maybe. But, hey, I never get my hands dirty and their housebroken, usually." Morgan then told Mike as he picked up Emerald and Tellu and then threw them out of the room before he led Mike over to his chessboard.

"Now, feast your peepers on this." Morgan then told Mike as he used his powers to make an image of Gotham appear on the chessboard.

+Market Place, Gotham+

As the sun shined brightly in the sky over Gotham, Emerald and Tellu disguised as two human girls walked through the market place as they looked around for any sign of Peter.

+With Emerald and Tellu+

"What do they call these again?" Emerald curiously asked Tellu as they walked passed one of the stands. "Pants." Tellu told her friend. "I like! No drafts." Emerald happily told Tellu as she jumped into the air.

"Oh forget it, they'll never catch on." Tellu then told her friend as they began to walk through the market place once more. "Now come on, we've gotta find this Peter kid." Tellu then told Emerald before they began to walk through the market place once more until Tellu bought a scroll from one of the stands.

"Let's see, according to his rap sheet, Peter also answers to 'Pete'." Tellu began to tell her friend after she unscrolled the scroll. "He wears a vest-no shirt- and a rakish fez. He also keeps his black hair in a ponytail." Tellu then told Emerald before the imp noticed someone matching Peter's description.

"That's gotta be our man!" Emerald excitedly told Tellu as he pointed to one of the stands before she and Tellu poofed into a two headed dragon causing the people in the market place to scream in fright before they ran through out the market place just as the two headed dragon ran over to the monkey that Emerald had seen.

+With Emerald, Tellu and Agu+

"We have you now, Peter." Emerald growled at Agu after he and Tellu grabbed the small monkey causing Agu to screech in fright as he tried to get free.

"Huh? I'm not Peter, you fools." Agu angerly told the imps as he tried to get free once more.

"Well, he matches the description." Tellu nervously told her friend as Agu tried to get away from them not knowing that Peter, his husband Prince Alex and Carpet were watching them from a nearby rooftop.

"But he doesn't look very...heroic." Emerald told her friend.

+With Peter+

"Looks can be deceiving. I'm Peter." Peter angerly told the imps as he put his hands on
his hips while Prince Alex glared at the imps as he too put his hands on his hips.

"I think you have our monkey." Prince Alex angerly told the imps causing the imps to look at Peter nervously as they noticed that he was wearing medium grey pants, dark grey shoes, and a light grey shirt with a medium grey vest and dark grey belt.

+With the imps and Agu+

"That's Peter?" Tellu asked her friend in pure shock before she looked at the scroll once more. "They'll have to update the database." Tellu then told Emerald before she threw away the scroll and Agu causing the monkey to screech in fright as the imps flew over to the rooftop causing Peter to jump down from the rooftop and right ontop of Emerald's and Tellu's heads before he landed on the ground in front of them, grabbed Emerald and Tellu's tail and then pulled it causing the imps to fall onto the ground just as Prince Alex hopped onto Carpet and then flew over to one of the stands where he then jumped off of the flying carpet and then ran over to another stand causing Carpet to fly over to Peter who instantly hopped onto Carpet.

+With Prince Alex+

"Peter!" Prince Alex yelled at his husband before he grabbed the tarp off of one of the stands and then handed it to Peter as soon as he flew over to him. "Thanks Alex." Peter happily told the prince before he flew over to the imps.

+With Peter+

"This will keep you underwraps." Peter told the imps as he tied their legs together with the tarp just as Agu ran over to the imps.

"And this is for grabbing me." Agu angerly told the imps before he began to smack their faces causing the imps to cry out in pain just as Peter jumped off of Carpet and then landed near Agu.

"What is this thing? I've never seen anything like it." Peter curiously asked himself as he got closer to the imps who then transformed into two snakes who then wrapped around Peter causing the raven haired former street rat to gasp in shock.

"This time we really got ya!" Tellu gloated to Peter causing the former street rat to think of an idea.

"Ah! Okay! Okay! You guys win, all right! Uh, look do whatever you want to me, just don't take what's in my lamp!" Peter worringly told the imps as he took out his silver lamp knowing that his genie Sunny was relaxing in the lamp and was listening to them.

"Why? What's in the lamp?" Tellu asked Peter.

"Must be something tres-cool." Emerald told her friend as Peter looked worringly at the lamp.

"Give it!" the imps yelled at Peter who smirked as the imps tried to get the lamp causing the former street rat to toss the lamp to his husband who was standing nearby.

"Sorry, too slow." Prince Alex smirked at the imps causing them to free Peter and then return to their normal forms before they ran over to the prince who tossed the lamp to Carpet.

"Give it! Come on, give me it! Give it!" the imps yelled at Carpet as the magic carpet held the lamp out of their reach before he flew over to Agu who was hanging onto the edge of a nearby stand.

"Aw come on. Stop. Give it!" Tellu and Emerald told Agu before the monkey threw the lamp to Peter who caught it.

"Let go!" Emerald told the former street rat as she and Tellu ran over to him before they tripped and then fell onto the ground as Peter tossed the lamp to Prince Alex who then tossed it to Agu causing the imps to get up and then run over to the monkey as Agu ran from the stand and then grabbed the lamp just before the imps attacked him and then pinned him to the ground before Tellu grabbed the lamp.

"Ah-ha! Now we'll just see what special goodies you have got in here." Tellu gloated to the couple causing Peter and Prince Alex to look at them with fear in their eyes.

+With Peter and his husband+

"Stop!" Prince Alex gasped in fright as he worringly grabbed Peter's right arm. "You have no idea what's contained within that lamp." Peter told the imps in fright as the prince held onto him.

+With the imps+

"What do you take us for?!" Tellu sneered at the couple.
