Chapter 30
Mandy's true love and Will's choice

"Josefina, we have to help them." Manuel told his sister as Tyler, Nicole, Leona and Jason tried to help the others free Lilly while Jasper and Syrus dug into their respective backpacks for a potion that could defeat the snake. "I know, Manuel but how?" Josefina told and then asked her brother just as her backpack began to shake causing Manuel to open his sister's backpack and then take out a large book which then opened by it's self causing Manuel and Josefina to smirk.

"Tyler, Leona, Jason! I've got a spell we can use against this snake!" Josefina yelled at her friends causing Tyler, Leona and Jason to run over to Josefina while Nicole continued to attack the evil snake with her powers.

"Think this will work?" Tyler curiously asked his friend. "Hex has never been wrong before. Ready?" Josefina asked her friends and brother causing them to nod as they each pointed their index fingers at the evil snake and began to chant along with Josefina.

Josefina, Tyler, Leona, and Jason: Wicked creature

get thee hence

only good can recomence

for the misdeeds that

you have done

evil creature

return to whence

you come!

As soon as the two witches and two wizards finished their spell, beams of magic left their fingers and then hit the snake causing her to scream in pain as she let Lilly go and then exploded into ash causing Will to look down sadly as Mason ran over to his new girlfriend who was being checked over by Belle and Mandy just as Josefina, Manuel and their friends ran over to Lilly while a furious Lewis, Andy and Connor grabbed Will who didn't even fight them and then dragged him over to Lilly.

"Thank you, but how did you do that?" Lilly told and then asked Josefina causing the teen witch to smile. "My friend Leona and I are witches while my brother Manuel, Tyler, and Jason are wizards and Nicole is a Churi Kanay. Churi Kanays can control the elements: Earth, Air, Fire and Water." Josefina explained to Lilly and her friends causing Lilly and Mason to smile at Josefina and her friends before they noticed Lewis, Andy and Connor.

"Lewis, Andy, Connor, what are you three doing?" Lilly asked her friends in shock. "We're making sure that Will doesn't try anything like his sister did." Lewis told Lilly causing the raven haired teen to look curiously at Will and notice that he looked sad and scared causing Lilly to look worringly at Will. "Will, I'm sorry about your sister." Lilly sadly told Will causing the brunette to glare at her. "No, you're not. Just do whatever you want to me. Torture me, kill me, I don't care, it'll be nothing compared to what my mother's going to do to me." Will sadly told Lilly as he looked at her with defeat in his eyes.

"Will, we're not going to hurt you. All I want to know is why. Why would your sister attack us and why would your mother kill my grandparents and kidnap our parents?" Lilly told and then asked Will as Mandy looked sadly at the boy she was starting to crush on. "Please Will, we just want to know why?" Mandy sadly asked Will who looked sadly at Mandy. "I'm sorry, I can't." Will sadly told the teen he was starting to crush on as Lilly got an idea and then began to sing to Will.

Lilly: Will, you're a prisoner forever

when you're trapped inside your fears

what you're doing isn't right

Mandy who knew exactly what Lilly was up to: And you're never gonna change that

in a hundred million years

Lilly: Unless you change the side

for which you fight

So trust the wing of friendship

Mandy and Lilly as they began to twirl around in one spot: To do what's right and proper

You'll be free again

Will as he began to see the group in a new light: Where there's confidence

and wondrous peace of mind

"That's right." Mandy happily told Will as she and Lilly stopped twirling before Lilly began to sing once more.

Lilly: You can always persevere

Whatever obstacles appear

The group and Will: 'Cause there's no fear

when you're on the right side

"I...I...I can't." Will sadly told the group knowing that his mother would kill him for even mentioning why she hated Tommy and Buffy.

Lilly: If your feathers are a-quivering

Mandy: If you're shaking in your shell

Lilly: Then it's confidence you're wanting,

that's for sure

And it all comes from knowing

that you're actions will tell

That your intentions are noble,

good and pure

So gather courage from your comrades

Mandy: Take the promise of your pals

Lilly: That whatever comes

we'll take it in our stride

So be true to the feelings
