Tangled II

Chapter 1
When Will My Life Begin

This is the story of how Corona and Arendelle were almost taken over by the son of Mother Gothel. This is also the story about my son Flynn and it starts a few days after he was born.

As the sun shined brightly in the sky, the people of the kingdom of Corona and guests from many different kingdoms walked or road carriages toward the royal castle of Corona for a grand celebration in honor of the newest royal.

+Ballroom, Corona castle+

As guests mingled about the room, Eugene sat on a tall throne and looked out at all the guests as two young women each carrying a baby in their arms walked over to him and his beloved Rapunzel who was sitting on the throne next to him with a little baby in her arms.

"Elsa, Anna, I'm so glad you two could make it." Rapunzel happily told her cousins causing the two queens of Arendelle to smile at their cousin and cousin-in-law.

"We weren't going to miss this day for the world." Queen Elsa told her cousin as the little baby in her arms began to giggle causing snow to appear around the blanket she was wrapped in.

"Snow powers?" Rapunzel curiously asked Queen Elsa causing the platinum blonde to smile.

"Yes. Both Marta and Lars inherited my snow powers." Queen Elsa softly told her cousin as she thawed the blanket causing little Marta to giggle once more as a man wearing a red cloak walked over to them with Kristoff and a man with red hair right behind him causing Queen Elsa and Queen Anna to look curiously at the red headed man and Kristoff as they walked over to Eugene who was looked curiously at the stranger as well.

"Hello, sister dear." the man told Rapunzel causing the brunette to smile as the man lowered his cloak revealing raven haired and dark eyes.

"Gordon, I'm so happy to see you." Rapunzel happily told the raven haired man causing Gordon to look at her curiously.

"Where is Mother, Rapunzel and what is going on here?" Gordon curiously asked Rapunzel causing the brunette to sigh.

"She's dead Gordon. She wasn't really my mother. She kidnapped me as a child. This is my kingdom and I was it's lost princess." Rapunzel explained to Gordon causing the raven haired man to growl.

"So, now you know the truth. After everything Mother has done for you, you not only broke her heart but you killed her as well." Gordon growled at Rapunzel causing the former blond to look at him in shock.

"Gordon, that's not what happened. I didn't kill her." Rapunzel told her former brother causing Gordon to glare at her as his eyes began to glow.

"Liar. You took our mother from me and now I will take your precious son from you." Gordon angerly told Rapunzel as he reached towards the child causing Rapunzel's eyes to widen in fright as she, Eugene, Queen Elsa, Queen Anna, Kristoff and the red headed man tried to move.

"NO!" Rapunzel yelled in fright just as Marta began to cry as she began to wave her arms causing a burst of snow to hit Gordon causing the raven haired man to look at Marta in shock as Flynn, Lars, Kirsten and Peter began to cry as well.

"Why you little..." Gordon began as he lost his concintration causing his spell to break.

"Guards! Maximus!" Eugene yelled instantly as Queen Elsa handed her daughter to Eugene and then created a large and sharp ice crystal causing Gordon to growl as Maximus led the guards into the room.

"This isn't over sister dear." Gordon growled at Rapunzel before he disappeared into thin air as Flynn, Marta, Lars, Kirsten and Peter continued to cry.

"Eugene, he's long gone by now." Rapunzel worringly told her husband before he could give the guards and Maximus any orders.

"Then what do we do, Rapunzel?" Eugene worringly asked his wife as she tried to calm Flynn down while Queen Elsa, Queen Anna, King Kristoff and the red headed man tried to do the same with their own children while the other guests, King Frederic and Queen Arianna looked at them worringly.

"There's only one thing we can do." Rapunzel sighed sadly knowing that there was only one thing to do to keep her son safe.

+Flynn's bedroom, Corona royal ship, 14 years later+

As the sun shined behind a window near a beautiful canopy bed, groaning filled the air as a teen with brown hair tried to hid his head underneith his pillow just as creaking filled the air and a handsome man walked into the room and over to the teen who was trying to go back to sleep.

"Flynn, time to wake up." King Eugene told his son as he looked down at the teen causing the young teen to mumble something and then turn away from his father causing the older brunette to chuckle.

"Flynn, don't you remember what today is?" King Eugene curiously asked his son causing more mumbling to fill the air.

"I know it's early but look outside." King Eugene told his son causing the young prince to remove his pillow, sit up and then quickly get out of bed before he ran over to a tall window and then grinned as he looked out of it as King Eugene walked over to his son.

"We should be there soon, so get dressed, kiddo." King Eugene told his son as he ruffled his son's hair causing Flynn to scowl at his father as the older brunette turned around and then walked out of the room causing Flynn to sigh before he walked over to his wardrobe and then opened it revealing his favorite clothes sitting on a dummy.

"Another week in Arendelle." Flynn sighed before he began to sing.

Flynn as he took the clothes off of the dummy: I've got my parents's love

Flynn as he walked over to a nearby changing screen: I shouldn't ask for more

Flynn as he walked behind the screen and began to change: I've got so many things

I should be thankful for

Yes, I have everything

Flynn as he walked out from behind the screen: except

Flynn as he walked over to his bed to put on his boots: I guess

Flynn as he sat on his bed: my freedom

Flynn as he put on his boots: Prehaps it's better

that I stay in

the palace

but tell me

when will my life begin?

"Just once, I'd love to escape the palace and see the village near it. I've never even seen our village or Arendelle's village for that matter." Flynn then sighed once more as he stood up and then walked out of his room and onto the top deck where he found his parents talking with the captain.
